The Menu...

The food will not be hawaiian. We decided that not everyone would like luau food. So, we decided on a buffet so that everyone can decide what they want. (From Ryan's viewpoint, he likes to be able to have seconds.) So, here is a list of what is on the menu:

Caesar salad
Fresh Mozzarella, Smoked Provolone, Cappacola, Pepperoni, Salami, Roasted Peppers, Olives, Artichoke Hearts, and Sun Dried Tomatoes in Garlic Infused Olive Oil
Fresh tossed salad with assorted dressing
Prime Rib
Roast Pork Loin with stuffed Mozzarella, seasoned spinach, and garlic demi-glaze
Cheese Tortellini with a Tomato Basil Sauce
Pencil point penne with Champagne Sauce
Shrimp and Scallop Scampi
Garlic and Chive Smashed Potatoes
Seasonal vegetable assortment
Bread display
Grand Finale (a little something to remind us all of the boardwalk)
Wedding Cake
It was important that we got expert advice when it came to cake tasting. Thankfully, our niece Ashley was up to the challenge. When you can't decide on one flavor, why not have four! All I can say is, "Save room for dessert!" We chose Mocha, which was a chocolate cake with a Mocha filling. Black velvet, which had a rasberry filling. Apple cake with caramel filling. Vanilla butter cake with apples and cinnamon. Which one will you have? Well, we are putting a fun twist on the traditional wedding cake. You'll have to come to find out what we have in store!
